The Taekwondo Tigers Program is a detailed curriculum that focuses on improving preschool age children’s basic motor and listening skills. These skills will help them enter society with a more confident and enthusiastic outlook. They will become better students at school, better listeners at home and more ambitious towards the future. We believe the time between the ages 4 and 6 are the most important years of a child’s development. Our program will enhance positive development in a fun and motivating way.

SELF-DEFENSE - Children's self-defense takes many forms. The martial arts teaches children to think instead of panic in potentially serious situations as well as how to appropriately react to threats from other kids and how to handle peer pressure.

SELF -CONFIDENCE - It doesn't come naturally for many children, but rather is developed over a period of time.

COORDINATION - Martial arts challenges the entire body, developing coordination, balance, agility and poise, often neglected in many team sports available to children in this age group.

EVERY CHILD WINS - In martial arts, every child can be a winner instead of a bench sitter because martial arts allows children to reach for their own potential rather than directly competing against other kids.

ADDITIONAL BENEFITS - Martial arts offer many other benefits for children such as improved concentration and self discipline, both of which contribute to improved performance in school.

CLASSES FOR CHILDREN ONLY - We pride ourselves in offering classes for children only. As professional instructors, we realize that children have specific training needs and requirements that can be best answered in their own classes since they learn differently from teenagers and adults.

SELF -DEFENSE - Many parents worry about their teenagers being safe on the street, yet one of the real problems concerns a teen's ability to defend him/herself against others their age. Martial arts teaches teens to think instead of panic in potentially serious situations as well as how to react to threats from others.

SELF-CONFIDENCE - Self-confidence does not come naturally for most teens, but rather it is developed over a period of time. As a teen accomplishes new goals, their confidence levels increase and they become better able to meet harder challenges in the future. Teens become more self-confident in martial arts because they progress individually, at their own pace and are not judged against others.

FITNESS - Research has shown that the majority of teens are not in shape due to lack of exercise. Many teens have found that the traditional ways of working out, such as weights or running are boring and hard to stay committed to. The martial arts offers an exciting way to stay in shape that doesn't get boring or routine.

LIFESTYLE - Many parents have read articles or books about the martial arts, have seen TV documentaries, or have friends in the martial arts and have heard of the positive benefits that the martial arts have on young peoples lives. Some examples of these benefits are improved concentration, self-discipline, improved grades and a positive mental attitude.

FRIENDSHIP - Working out with friends their own age who are working towards the same goals is a rewarding way to develop lasting friendships during a time in life when friendships are so important.

SELF -DEFENSE - Men and women alike find themselves in uncomfortable situations, such as walking to their car late at night, riding a bicycle or jogging in an unfamiliar neighborhood. It's at times like this that martial arts training greatly enhances your self-confidence because of the ability to really take care of yourself or someone you care for.

FITNESS - Our society currently puts a great deal of emphasis on staying in shape and looking good. Many men and women find that traditional ways of working out, such as running or weights are hard to stay committed to. Martial arts is a great way to stay in shape that doesn't become dull or routine, because as you get better and learn more there are always more challenges ahead to keep you inspired and coming back for more.

LIFESTYLE - Many people have read articles or books about the martial arts, have seen TV documentaries, or have friends in the martial arts and have heard of the positive benefits that the martial arts have on their lives. Some examples of these benefits are improved concentration, reduced stress ,  self-discipline and a positive mental attitude.

FRIENDSHIP - Working out with friends who are working towards the same goals is a rewarding way to develop lasting friendships and break the routine of work and home.
